Plantain leaf is mild, green, and slightly earthy with a soft, neutral herbal flavor. Traditionally referenced in herbal practices and commonly included in gentle, everyday herbal blends and often used in simple herbal infusions, topical oils, balms and salves. This is the herb plantain, not the more common Plantain fruit.  

Ingredients:  Plantago major  (1oz)

Preparation: Steep 1–2 teaspoons of dried leaf in 8 oz hot water for tea. For external use, infuse leaves in oil for salves or apply as a poultice as desired.  Also for use in Tinctures, Extracts, Balms & Salves.
