Chasteberry or Chaste Tree is a flowering shrub native to the Mediterranean region. It is also grown as an ornamental in the southeastern U.S. Mildly peppery with a slightly bitter, earthy finish. Traditionally associated with women’s herbal practices and included in herbal tea blends.
